You might have gotten bad RAM, use MemTest86 to test it. Just download the ISO image and burn it to a CD then restart your computer and boot to that CD. It will automatically start checking your RAM and let you know if there are any errors. The best way to test would be to insert one stick at a time.

Putting “Virtual Console” games onto my SD card???

Question by boardgamefan: Putting “Virtual Console” games onto my SD card???
I’ve downloaded 5 or 6 “Virtual Console” games to my Wii and I’ve noticed it’s starting to take up some space…

So… I tried to copy those games over to my SD 2-gig memory card only to find out that some of those games won’t copy and some will???

It allowed me to copy the “Neo-Geo” games over to my SD card but nothing else…

What’s that all about???
Ya… a little message comes up that says you cannot copy this…

I’ve allready copied some game saves over to the card along with the Neo-Geo virtual games…

Is there a “format” memory card option on the Wii???
And Yes… I have an official “Wii” SD card…

It should allow you to copy over any game, I’ve done it myself. Do you get a message that says Copying is not allowed or is the button just faded out and unclickable? Maybe format your card if you can and try again.

You need a computer to format, either an SD slot or a USB to SD device (most cameras allow this) and then right click the storage device through My Computer.

I have over 20 VC games, NES, SNES, TurboGrafx, Genesis and N64. They are all able to copy to the SD card.
